About Counseling
I counsel individuals and couples facing a variety of challenges. My approach to counseling is built on the foundation of partnership where we explore your innate strengths, and tackle the issues at hand. Together we’ll re-examine the stories of the past to write a story of a future with clarity and purpose. Respect, honesty, trust, and equality form the basis of my therapeutic relationships, and I strive to create a comfortable and collaborative environment for all clients where confidentiality is assured.
My educational background includes a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Speech from Northwestern University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia (LPC008489), and a Nationally Certified Counselor (296746). My experience includes work in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings treating a wide spectrum of mental health issues and addiction. Creativity enhances my counseling approach, and I draw from extensive training and work in the performing arts.
I work with clients from throughout the metro Atlanta area at the Equality Counseling Center in Buckhead. While I don’t serve on any insurance panels, I can provide documentation for clients to submit to their health insurance plan. The fee for service is $120 per 50-60 minute session. An initial 90 minute session has a $180 fee. I offer a sliding scale based on income and household size.
Call to schedule a complimentary 30 minute phone consultation – (770) 828-5441. We can discuss what issues you are facing and how therapy may be of benefit.
