Counseling individuals facing a variety of challenges is my passion. My approach to counseling builds a the foundation of partnership. We explore your innate strengths to tackle the issues at hand. Together we re-examine the stories of the past, consequently writing a story of a future with clarity and purpose. Respect, honesty, and trust form the basis of my therapeutic relationships. I strive to create a comfortable and collaborative environment for all clients where confidentiality is assured.

My educational background includes a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Speech from Northwestern University. I hold a license as a Professional Counselor in Georgia (LPC008489). My experience includes more than ten years of private practice counseling, working with the full range of sexual and gender identities. I also authored the book Coming True, a vital manual for men coming out later in life. Creativity enhances my counseling approach, and I draw from extensive training and work in the performing arts.

I work with clients from throughout the metro Atlanta. My practice is paperless and managing scheduling is a breeze. Virtual sessions remain available when needed, but I do see clients in-person. I don’t serve on any insurance panels, although I provide documentation for clients to access out-of-network benefits they may have. My fee for service is $150 per 50-60 minute individual session, while an initial 90 minute session has a $200 fee.

Call to schedule a complimentary 30 minute phone consultation – (770) 828-5441. This call gives you the chance to kick the tires a bit. COunseling is an investment of time, emotion, and resources, so take time to make sure this feels like a good match. We can discuss what issues you are facing and how therapy may be of benefit.
